Gaines couldn't function without our team of Gaines Internal Trainees (or more colloquially 'GITs'). Each year we need Christian folk aged between 18-23 to give a year of their lives to serve God at Gaines.

Here's what's involved:

Biblical Training

You'll be part of the Midlands Ministry Training Course in Birmingham every Thursday. Here you'll be challenged in your understanding of the Bible and trained in how to teach it to others.

Practical Training

We'll teach you how to run holidays and weekends for young people, from cooking and cleaning, through to entertaining and teaching them. We'll even help you put them to bed!

Physical Training

When we haven't got any visitors on site and you're not too busy preparing bible studies and talks, there's plenty of work to be done on the house and the grounds as we maintain the estate and refurbish areas that are yet to be completed.

You'll be part of a close-knit family, and we fully expect you to make life-long Christian friendships. We hope and pray that you will grow and mature in your faith as you serve at Gaines.
